Quote the claim, then look for the evidence
Take a phrase like "no downtime" exactly as written, then look for what stands behind it: a clearance, a trial, a counted result. If nothing stands behind it, the phrase is only a phrase.
Three plastic surgery society pages to read claim by claim
The useful way to keep going is to keep checking marketing claims against medical evidence. Start with the plastic surgery society's post on finding the right plastic surgeon for you and hold what a clinic says about its surgeons beside what the source says.
Two further reads fit the same habit of checking. One is an ASPS article on why nonsurgical rhinoplasties are gaining popularity, where "gaining popularity" is a claim to test against what is counted. The other is the ASPS page on botulinum toxin questions, a source to keep open beside any "no downtime" promise.
Nothing in these readings is medical advice.
